Australian cypress hardwood flooring continues to regain the popularity it once enjoyed, more manufacturers and distributors are vying to supply the demand.
In Eastern Australia, the two major suppliers are Bruce Hardwood Floors, based in Melbourne but distributed locally, and Weston-based Satin Finish hardwood flooring. These two can supply most of the alternatives you could imagine, but others such as Barwood and Leclerc extend the range of patterns and species.
Depending on the location, Australian cypress hardwood flooring supplies up to half the hardwood flooring used in Australia. Products come in two surface finishes. “Dura-luster” is a factory applied, four-coat polyurethane, no-wax type finish, noted for durability and resistance to kitchen and other spills.
